A complex collective exhibition, both multimedia and transmedia, which aims at giving a comprehensive picture of the migration phenomenon; starting with a section dedicated to the Italian diaspora which has seen, from the beginning of the XX century until after the Second World War, a constant flux of migration especially towards America, to end with the representation of and the reflection upon the present crises of migrants in the Mediterranean which is mining the identity roots of the whole of Europe. Crucial to the development of the exhibition is the glossary of Carta di Roma: a dialogue between the language of art and information, an extra tool offered to the audience to analyse and understand the exact terminology used in matters of migration.

With the cooperation of Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca, we aimed at making the exhibition accessible to different disabilities, through a board of collaborators which involved several institutions of the territory.
