Photolux Festival present PhotoMATCH, the innovative portfolio review format created by FotoFestiwal, Lodz.
PhotoMATCH is a new portfolio reviews format: two-day meeting and exchange time designed for both photographers and reviewers.

PRESENTATION
During short presentations the reviewers and the photographers talk about their work and show their most interesting projects.
Photographer’s presentation is designed for 4 minutes and 20 slides and reviewer’s presentation for 2 minutes and 10 slides.
PHOTO-MATCH-ING
The presentation is followed by the Photo-MATCH-ing, during which both photographers and readers choose two interlocutors to meet in the individual 20-minute session.

PHOTOGRAPHERS MEET REVIEWERS
In the first round, reviewers receive the 2 photographers who have booked a meeting with experts of their choice.
REVIEWERS MEET PHOTOGRAPHERS
In the second round, photographers take their spots and receive the 2 reviewers who have registered for a meeting with artist of their choice.
ALL MEET ALL
An open time and space for additional and informal meetings. If one did not succeed to register for a regular meeting with someone of the strong interest, there is still a chance to have a short discussion at that moment. It is also time for reviewers to approach another reviewers and photographers to speak with other photographers.
We have also emphasised a social part of the event. We arranged a coffee corner for all participants to facilitate their discussions, exchange of thoughts and ideas, network building. A common meal for both experts and artists will be provided on day one.
