Lea Vene
Lea Vene (1987, Zagreb / Croatia) is an art historian, cultural anthropologist and fashion theorist. She completed a post-master’s degree in Critical Images and R-Lab at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, Sweden. She worked as a curator at the ETNOFILm festival and at the Miroslav Kraljević Gallery. He is currently part of the curatorial team of the Organ Vida photo festival and the Močvara Gallery. She works as a researcher at the Center for Research of Fashion and Clothing - CIMO and teaches at the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb.
Marta Szymańska
Marta Szymańska is a Polish photography curator. In 2004 he created Fotofestiwal - International Photography Festival in Lodz. She is also co-creator of Fotofestiwal Collective, which tests collective and democratic ways of working and managing a cultural project. Marta was Deputy Director of the Archeology of Photography Foundation which is responsible for saving, developing and promoting the archives of Polish photographers. Her curatorial experience includes exhibitions: "Tender Attention" (2021, Museum of Art in Lodz), "Long life for Belarus" (2021; Pilecki Institute in Berlin, Fotofestiwal Lodz), "Be a Lady - contemporary woman photographers in Belarus" (2020, month of photography in Minsk) and others.
She is portfolio reader, juror of photographic competitions and co-creator of the Photo-Match concept, a new formula for portfolio reading.
Lydia Dorner
Lydia Dorner is in charge of the Prix Elysée at the Photo Elysée in Lausanne. Graduated in History of Art and French Letters, she worked in the Exhibitions Department from 2012 to 2021, mainly on projects dedicated to contemporary photography. His research fields include the relationship between text and image, family photography and the re-appropriation of historical-artistic icons.
Pablo Berástegui Lozano
Pablo Berástegui has developed a solid career as an art producer in Spain, working in different fields, mostly in large-scale collaborative projects such as the CEO of Donostia San Sebastián 2016 European Capital of Culture. From 2002 to 2006 he also directed the PHotoEspaña International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts, a festival in which he held other important leading positions between 2000 and 2002. He was director of four editions of La noche en blanco (La Nuit Blanche in Madrid), from 2007 to 2010. In 2008 he was asked to lead the opening of Matadero Madrid, a new center for contemporary arts in Madrid, a position he held until December 2012, when he was asked to undertake the redefinition of Conde Duque, one of the places Madrid’s City Council, where he worked until 2013, until he left to launch Pausa, a residency program for artists, poets, thinkers and researchers in a rural setting.
He lives between Madrid and Porto (Portugal), where he directs the Salut au monde! Project, a program of contemporary photography exhibitions focused on the themes of otherness. He also curates exhibitions for other institutions and teaches in several universities and schools in Spain and Portugal.
István Virágvölgyi
István Virágvölgyi (1982 - Budapest, Hungary) studied freehand drawing, desktop publishing, photography and holds a master’s degree in library and information sciences from Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary). He worked at the main Hungarian news portal Origo first as a photo editor and then as a head of photography between 2007 and 2011. Then he joined MTI Hungarian News Agency and served as head of the photo desk for three years He lectured about documentary photography and photo editing at the Budapest Metropolitan University between 2014 and 2019. Since 2014 he works as curator of the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center and he is the secretary of the Capa Grand Prize Hungary. Since 2016 he is cultural advisor of the Archabbey of Pannonhalma, since 2018 volunteer editor of the Fortepan digital photo archive, and since 2021 member of the board of trustees of the József Pécsi Photography Scholarship for young artists. He is married, has two children, lives and works in Budapest.
Rasmus Vasli
Rasmus Vasli (b.1986, Norway) holds a MA in Fine Art Photography from the University of the Arts London. Since 2013 he has been the Director and Co-founder of Fotogalleri Vasli Souza, as well as a part time artist. Vasli’s photography work primarily focuses on the family and self-portraiture, where he wishes to express a genuine interest in human emotions and relations.
Vasli Souza is a privately run gallery for contemporary photography with an international outlook and approach. Influenced by the background of Marcio Souza from Brazil and Rasmus Vasli from Norway having both studied fine art photography at the University of the Arts London. Established in 2013, the gallery started in an old factory building in the city center of Malmö, Sweden. Vasli Souza aim is to represent and promote up and coming, young, contemporary artist from a diverse background at a national and international level. With a special interest and often showing projects with an uncanny or humorous approach. The gallery participates in international art fairs and produces between seven and eight exhibitions each year.
Thomas Borberg
For the past 11 years, Thomas has worked at the Danish newspaper Politiken as photo editor-in-chief and as a visiting lecturer of photojournalism and portfolio-reviewer at photofestivals and universities around the world. He has also worked as photo editor for numerous bookprojects and as a jury member for national and international photo contests, including the 2016 World Press Photo Contest as a member of the Documentary and News jury and the 2018 World Press Photo contest as Chairman of the Sports jury. In June 2021 he became Staffphotographer at Politiken.
Fred Boucher
Born in 1963, he lives in Montreuil sur Brèche – Oise. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale de la Photographie d’Arles in 1986. Associate artist in Photography at UFR Arts in Amiens. In 1991 he founded and since then is the Artistic Director of Diaphane, the photographic center of the Hauts de France, which develops a policy of spreading photography in the region: organizing exhibitions, setting up residences, publishing photography books and carrying out numerous image education projects. through photography.

Marcel Fortini
Marcel Fortini is the founder director of the Centre Méditerranéen de la Photographie in Bastia, Corse, conventionné with the Collectivité Territoriale de Corse.
He graduated at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles and he is Docteur en arts plastiques et sciences de l’art. Tiziana Faraoni
Tiziana Faraoni was born in Rome in 1971. After studying architecture and photography, in 1995 she joined the staff of the Grazia Neri photojournalist agency where she remained until 2004, dealing with editing, production, management and selection of Italian and foreign photographic and freelance agencies. Coordinator of special projects and books (Pirelli, Tim) and responsible for managing relations with picture editors of various newspapers.
Since 2004 he has participated in juries of Italian and international photographic awards (Getty Images Grants, Visa pour L’Image, National Geographic Italy, Yann Geffroy Award, FNAC Talent Award, OAX Biennale photography Oaxaca …).
From 2004 to March 2008 she was photo editor of the weekly supplement of the newspaper La Repubblica “D-La Repubblica delle Donne”, and thanks to this experience she became a journalist in 2006.
She has lectured in various schools and universities (IED, Luiss Università La Sapienza, Tobagi) and in 2011 she was invited by the Travel Literature Festival in Rome for her first “lectio magistralis”.
She has been curating exhibitions and photographic books for years and from 2012 to 2016 he was the artistic director of the photographic festival Fotoleggendo. Since 2008 she has been the responsible picture editor of the most important Italian news magazine “l’Espresso” and since 2011 she has taught at the Officine Fotografiche. In parallel with L’Espresso, since 2018 he has been the responsible picture editor of the official Ferrari magazine TOFM (The Official Ferrari Magazine).
For years she has participated in various photography festivals as a portfolio reader. She holds conferences and workshops on editing and photographic storytelling.
Michele Bella
Michele Bella was born and lives in Milan.
He fell in love with photography in the high school years, the turbulent 70s, and became a professional photographer in 1982, directing his career mainly between corporate and publishing.
In 2012 he decided to change his life and dedicated himself to the family gallery, Galleria Valeria Bella, a historical gallery in Milan, where he successfully introduced photography as a new art proposal.
Over the years, thanks also to his experience as a photographer, and to the participation in the most important international fairs such as Paris Photo and Photo London, the Valeria Bella Gallery has become an appreciated point of reference for great Italian and foreign collectors.
Through his work, Michele sets out to promote Italian photography on the most important international markets, which is very little known abroad but in fact quite popular.
This commitment, which focuses on photography from the 1960s to today, develops both at the level of great masters and young emerging talents, held in high regard by the gallery. Precisely for this reason, the gallery also considers the meeting with young foreign photographers to be of great interest in the context of healthier globalization.
Chiara Bardelli Nonino
Chiara Bardelli Nonino graduated with an MA in Philosophy with a dissertation on Post-Mortem photography. She is the Senior Visual Editor of Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue, the editor of Vogue.it Photography section and a curator for the Photo Vogue Festival. , where fashion is explored from a socio-political point of view in exhibit such as Reframing History, All That Man Is – Fashion and Masculinity Now, Italian Panorama, Fashion & Politics in Vogue Italia, The Female Gaze. She has collaborated, among others, with Foam Magazine, Aperture, The British Journal of Photography, PHmuseum, The Photocaptionist, Flash Art Italia, Looking on, Canon Student Development Programme, Metronom Gallery, Red Hook Labs, Marsell Paradise, Creative Review. With a focus on contemporary photography, she also works on independent editorial and curatorial projects and juries. Recent projects include the exhibition The Edge Effect at Marselleria, the project My Queer Blackness My Black Queerness and the co-curation of Aperture Summer Open: Delirious Cities. She has been part of the Jury of the 2020 edition of Hyères Festival and has curated the largest monographic exhibition on Paolo Roversi’s work titled “Paolo Roversi – Studio Luce” and the eponymous art book designed by M/M Paris.
