The jury said:
After a long discussion, also due to the large number and high quality of the dummies received, the jury is happy to have unanimously chosen the winning project of this year’s PhotoBoox Award. Yusuke Takagi tackles the world problem of alcoholism and addiction in a very personal way in his artist book “SPIN”. He invites us into his family history, mixing poetic, abstract and archival material in the most effective way, in an intergenerational rotation. Through the publication of this book and the exhibition at the Photolux Festival, the jury aims to reach a large audience.
