Video Installation in cooperation with Rencontres Internationales de la Photo-Graphie en Gaspésie

Synergie is a reflection on the neighborhood as a territory for encounters and exchanges that hinge on a choreography of everyday actions. The space experienced collectively becomes a mandala in perpetual motion, an imagining of the city where every citizen finds a place in the whole. Confronted with the standardization of cultures in a globalized world, the subject seems to be destroyed in the hubbub of massification.
However, belonging gets built with others through sharing, conflict and negotiation. Projected in a fabricated structure, the work is integrated into the urban environment in order to underscore the relationship of art to architecture.
