Mastering Black and White – Massimo Mastrorillo and Giuseppe Andretta

in collaboration with Logo Akademie.001SITO

Shooting in black and white is different than shooting in color and then convert the file when postproducing. You must see in black and white to get the most out of this expressive medium. The workshop is therefore intended to investigate black and white photography following the entire creative flow, from previsualization to shooting, from editing with Lightroom to the final print. The program is divided in two distinct phases and with two special tutors. On the first day, Massimo Mastrorillo will take participants through a first stage focusing on theory and on the theme of seeing in black and white, and through a second stage shooting on location. The second day will be dedicated to editing, evaluating, and postproducing images. Giuseppe Andretta will illustrate the techniques to get the most out of their images using Lightroom. He will conclude the workshop with a tutorial on printing in black and white.
