The Business Side of Documentary Photography – Claudia Hinterseer

Photography is a way of life, a passion but it’s also a business. This two-day workshop focuses on the commercial side of being a professional visual storyteller and those aspiring to be so. Day one deals with how to market your projects and run your business as a freelance photographer. Amongst other things, we will explore administration and communication necessities and the choices there are. The day will start with an introduction by each participant about expectations, career aspirations and the presentation of individual portfolios. Day two deals with market demands and how to build relationships with clients, project financing possibilities, sales and getting your work out there.
