Shai Kremer (kibbutz Ga’ash, Israel, 1974) lives and works New York, where he attended the School of Visual Arts. His works have been on exhibit in important museums such as the Tate Modern of London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York, the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Photography, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Israel Museum of Jurusalem, the Museo Internazionale della Croce Rossa e della Mezzaluna Rossa of Geneve (exhibition curated by the Musée de l’Elysée of Lausanne). He brought his work to numerous photography festivals like Photo España of Madrid and the Chinese Biennial Photos of Beijing and Guangzhou. His works are part of the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Photography of Chicago, the Israel Museum of Jerusalem,the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. He published two monographic books: Infected Landscape (2008) e Fallen Empires (2011). He is currently represented by Robert Koch Gallery of San Francisco. He collaborates with the following art galleries: Julie Saul of New York, Filles du Calvaire in Paris, Julie M. in Toronto and Tel Aviv, Artitled Contemporary in Herpen (Netherlands).
