Maurizio Galimberti (Como, 1956) in 1991 he started his collaboration with Polaroid Italia, of which he soon became official spokesperson realizing the book Polaroid Pro Art, published in 1995. He has been called “Instant Artist” and he is the creator of the Italian Polaroid Collection.
Pursuing his research with Polaroid, Galimberti reinvented the ‘photographic mosaic’ technique that he initially used for portraits and soon adjusted also for landscapes, architecture and cities.
Maurizio Galimberti regularly holds workshops for creative photography during major photofestivals and his works are part of the most important photography collections.
He currently lives in Milan and works between the United States and Italy.
