This step-by-step course will walk you through how to use Visual Storytelling with Instagram and Social Media. There will be also 4hrs photo&video shooting to work on new contents. During these two (full-time) days workshop we’ll talk about Photography, Visual Storytelling, Digital Strategy, Personal Branding e other professional Tools.

This course is addressed to PhotographersVideographers and all the PROs using Social Media for Business and Communication.


Requested equipment: camera, smartphone, notebook. Participants must bring their portfolio (digital support).

MASTER’S BIO

Francesco Pistilli/CAPTA is an Italian freelance photojournalist and videographer. He is the recipient of the World Press Photo Award 2018 (General News Stories) for his series “Lives in Limbo”. He is currently focusing on Reportage and Visual Journalism with political, social and environmental contents. He has worked in Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Sudan, Senegal, The Philippines, India, Brazil, Palestine, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Egypt, Hungary, Greece, Argentina, Indonesia and Turkey. Pistilli’s work has been published and distributed widely in international and national magazines including TIME, New York Times, the BBC, M le magazine du Monde, Bloomberg, L’Espresso, Internazionale, Politico, Wired, Elle, D di Repubblica, Vanity Fair, Super8 – La Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Sportweek, Grazia, L’Edition du soir. He has also worked with NGOs like Emergency (IT), Open Society Foundations, Emergenza Sorrisi and Greenpeace Philippines.
