Gergely Szatmári (Salgótarján, Hungary, 1966) has been teaching in the photography master program at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest since 2000. In 2008 he spent one year in the USA as visiting lecturer at the MSU in Montclair, NJ. Besides regular teaching activity he is also undertaking curating and organisating tasks. Gergely Szatmári is the only contemporary Hungarian photographer, who has works in an American corporate collection; in the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection. He is represented by Faur Zsófi Gallery, Budapest.
